The 2018 NFL draft is just a few months away and so it is never too early to look on to the next year’s crop of top talents that is going to dominate the field. We, therefore, have no doubt that there is already a lot of amazing talent to anticipate in the upcoming season. The 2017 running back class was definitely one for the ages, though the coming year’s class should provide many potential and promising runners at the very top. The group may lack the depth of the 2017 class. This year’s draft is set to represented more by quarterbacks, with figures such as USC’s Sam Darnold. Below is the rumored draft of the 2018 NFL Draft that we anticipate to take over the field.
1. Sam Darnold of New York Jets:
Darnold, Trojans’ starter in 2016, led the New York Jets to an easy win. He is expected to feature the draft.
2. Josh Rosen of San Francisco 49ers:
There were speculations that Josh Rosen was once the overall choice in next year’s draft, but was outdone by Sam Darnold. Darnold has however struggled to maintain the lead, which makes things different this time. NFL coaches and stakeholders are cautious on the details Rosen has issued to the media. It is also speculated that he has rubbed shoulders with his teammates, which could be a drawback for him. However, Rosen’s comeback against Texas A%M has by chance helped repair his score a bit.
3. Connor Williams of Chicago Bears:
After the selection of Mitchell Trubisky in this year’s NFL Draft, it’s seen as if this team requires a left tackle to back him up. Williams is regarded as the best offensive lineman in this year’s draft.
4. Derwin James of Washington Redskins:
James is compared to the Jalen Ramsey who was taken by Jaguars in the number 5 pick in last years NFL draft. Should James maintain his fitness, we are likely to see him have a huge season for the Seminoles.
5. Sam Hubbard of Miami Dolphins
Ohio State arguably has an able team nationally, and so, Sam Hubbard anticipates to be the best buckeye.
6. Detroit Lions: Christian Kirk:
Kirk is certainly the better choice for their kind of playing when it comes to the Lions offense. He happens to opt the known Calvin Ridley emerging as the best wide receiver in next year’s draft.
7. Mike McGlinchey of the Los Angeles Rams:
The LA Rams traded for Sammy Watkins, the former first-round pick. It is speculated that McGlinchey could have emerged the best choice only if he had managed last year’s draft. It is likely he will impact heavily on the Rams’ offensive line.
8. Buffalo Bills and Arden Key:
The Buffalo Bills seem to be having a new beginning and could go head to head for a position in next year’s NFL Draft. On board a highly talented defensive player in Key.
9. San Francisco 49ers and Saquon Barkley:
The 49ers have this time traded for another signal-caller instead, getting the likes of Jimmy Garoppolo. Saquan Barkley is most likely the suitable candidate. If by chance the Browns manage the top pick and pass on him, San Francisco 49ers will have to make a consideration of taking him. Barkley ran an impressive 4.33 during the Penn State pro day early this year that will be a better prospect compared to Ezekiel Elliott. It’s highly likely that he might be the first best choice in the mock draft.
10. Josh Allen of the Jacksonville Jaguars:
The Jaguars already have a team of talented players in waiting such as Leonard Fournette and Allen Robinson who will feature the list.
